For a decade he has served private equity and strategic (corporate) clients on buy and sell-side merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions in New York and Australia in a variety of industries, and in Silicon Valley focusing on the technology sector.

Mike is a director in our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice. For over 20 years Mike has been providing finance and accounting leadership to companies ranging in size from startup to Fortune 50. Mike has personally supported and led both buy and sell-side merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions and his experience includes corporate and private equity transactions.
Mike’s M&A expertise includes financial due diligence, business modelling, strategy development, pitch deck creation, planning and implementation of integration activities, and both departmental and Board-level reporting on post-close measurements (KPIs). Mike has held numerous financial management roles, up to and including Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He brings this experience to the table to help clients identify potential pitfalls before they become issues.
Jack Cartwright, MBASr. Manager
Jack is a globally successful financial and operational leader with over 15 years of experience in technically complex businesses including enterprise software, telecommunications, clean energy, manufacturing and logistics. He has worked to provide financial due diligence and deal analysis on buy and sell-side merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, and has led operational teams in delivering technology solutions in major venues/projects such as the 2010 and 2012 Olympic Games.
Jack possesses highly developed skill sets in all areas of financial and accounting practices, including financial analysis and planning, board reporting, budgeting and forecasting, advanced financial modeling and project and program management. He earned a MBA with a concentration in finance and strategy and has a successful background in complex military logistics operations in Europe and around the world.

Christine Ramello currently serves as a manager in the Financial Advisory Services practice for 9Gauge Partners in Austin, Texas. In her role, Christine works with her clients to integrate effective and efficient financial management, internal controls, and processes; adding value in a palpable way. She utilizes her big four experience to manage external audits and tax compliance, proactively pinpointing process issues to streamline financial practices and audit efficiency.
Chad Karnes, MBAManager

Chad is a seasoned finance professional with a wide range of finance experience who serves on 9Gauge’s Transaction Advisory Services team. He started his career in corporate finance, having graduated GE’s Financial Management Program as well as being a Senior FP&A, Treasury, and Business Development Analyst at one of North America’s largest energy service providers. As part of those roles he was an intricate part of multiple buy and sell side processes. He also spent some time on the buy side as part of a small team at a very successful $500MM hedge fund. Amongst his experiences are FP&A, due diligence, accounting, valuation, treasury, investor relations, integration, and research. Chad has a degree in finance from the University of Arkansas as well as an MBA from Georgia Tech.
