You may remember reading our client spotlight on Aceable, the leading mobile-first drivers education platform, last year. At the time, the company had recently hit 350,000 paid users and had partnered with 9Gauge to provide accounting relief for its ever-growing business model.

Today, almost one year later, a lot has changed for the Austin-based startup. The company now touts more than 550,000 students, has state-approved courses in 9 states, employs more than 100 employees, and has recently launched a second vertical, AceableAgent, to help aspiring agents get their real estate license online.

As this fast-paced startup continues to grow, core operations and quality financial services remain a core factor in the company’s strategic gameplan.

 

In the Right Hands

As expectations from investors grow, the Aceable team has continued to lean on 9Gauge services to help responsibly manage investor funding and maintain a lean team. Serving to fill every role from controller to staff accountant, 9Gauge allows Aceable to focus on scaling its growing business without distraction.

Here are some of the biggest accomplishments Aceable has achieved over the last 12 months:

  • Drivers education courses launched in Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Oklahoma
  • Defensive driving courses launched in Florida Miami-Dade county
  • Texas real estate pre-license coursework launched for perspective agents to earn their licenses
  • Launched national professional development programs
  • Hired new legal, marketing, product and content leadership team members

The company has big plans in the coming months to continue expanding its state-approved real estate education programs into additional states which will be announced as courses gain state approval.

 

Aceable: Driving Education Forward

9Gauge continues its work with Aceable by operating as an extension to the organization. State-approved driving courses are available in California, Florida, Illinois, Ohio, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas. Real estate education courses are currently available through AceableAgent in Texas, with plans for multi-state expansion in the coming months.
