Randy Russell

Managing Director, Systems Integration

Randy currently serves as Managing Director and Practice Leader of 9Gauge Partners’ Systems Integration Practice.  Randy is an entrepreneurial executive. He has spent the past 25 years in a complement of regional, national and international corporate roles such as CEO, COO, CFO, and SVP Professional Services. 

Most recently he has served as managing partner of the business advisory firm, Russell & Mayfield, where he provided financial and operational advisory services to clients in Austin and the southwest region of the United States. Randy served as Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Haas Outdoors, Inc., home of the “Mossy Oak” brand, where he gained extensive experience in intellectual property, patents, trademarks, copyrights, television, music, and digital media.  

Randy served as Senior Vice President of Professional Services at ePartners.  ePartners was an Austin Ventures portfolio company and was the largest Microsoft Business Application partner winning Microsoft’s Global Partner of the Year multiple times.  During his tenure at ePartners, Randy managed a team of 250 professional consultants in the business consulting, ERP and CRM implementation, and custom application software development business, with a footprint across 16 offices in North America, along with an office in London.  Randy also served on Microsoft’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Advisory Board.

Randy was the founder and CEO for 121 Micro, an award-winning systems integration consulting firm specializing in business process, accounting technology (ERP), customer relationship management technology (CRM) and custom business software development. 121 Micro was acquired by ePartners. Randy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of Southern Mississippi.  Randy also holds a Private Pilot’s license along with numerous FAA ratings and endorsements.

Randy is an avid outdoors-man and an active private pilot. He enjoys electronic gadgets, music, vintage cars and motorcycles along with sport aviation.  Randy enjoys tennis and hiking and spending time with his family in Austin, Texas and Destin, Florida.
